About
Much of my work especially within the context of User Experience, involves the use of situational awareness. A big part of what goes into my designs is my ability to cut through the airs of the assumed user, and really examine how they would use a product, why, and most of all when. When I've finally gathered all the parts of a situation; the people, the goals, the environment, and any outliers, I can create a truly seamless user journey. Taking myself from when they wake up in the morning if necessary, to when they're done and satisfied with the products I design.

I do this to explore and augment the possibilities of VR as a whole. VR has survived on its wow factor for years now, but audio and haptic applications must be explored for it to be more than a parlour trick.
My product uses 3D dynamic audio to tap into and immerse a user's sense of balance while they explore the virtual space. Using simple doppler effects, my product can stimulate shifts in a person's balance to accompany the shifts in the visual landscape.
During my research, I found that using a person's vestibular system, a system that provides you with a sense of balance, can lead to motion sickness if you manipulate one aspect while ignoring the others. Bringing oneEEs other senses into the VR world can solve this problem.
