Softer Space

Meghan Rose

Softer space is a multi-sensory art therapy experience targeted at younger adults through its "Instagramability".

Younger adults can often spend more than six hours per day feeling stressed, anxious and under pressure. Despite living in an ever-connected world, young people are feeling more stressed than ever before.

Through researching many ways in how sensory design can help people feel calm and relaxed and discovering about younger generations desire for shareable experiences, a multi-sensory exhibit concept came to life.

A multi-sensory art exhibit, which caters to the Millenial & Generation Z’s desire for unique experiences and shareability, while at the same time helping them to disconnect from their stresses by being immersed in a therapeutic environment.
