Wesley Slade

You can call me Wes, I'm a service designer and educator who wants to make a positive impact on the world by co-creating innovative and effective solutions with the people who occupy it. I've got an endlessly curious mind and I'm currently obsessed with the future of design in the public sector and participatory design.

At Sheridan, I had multiple roles as a learning assistant, tutor, and student technician from 2017 to 2020 that revealed my own motivations for learning were rooted in the ability to pass that learning onto others. These experiences culminated in my thesis project, a learning tool for self-directed learning called "Construct".
