Zubash Akmal

Hey! 👋🏾 I'm Zubash Akmal, a multi-disciplinary designer with an active imagination and a relentless drive to seek clarity in complex problems. My curiosity-fueled approach to design often leads me to question the status quo and search for innovative ways to drive inclusion and serve users from a diverse set of backgrounds. As a research assistant for Sheridan's Office of Inclusive Communities, I'm often putting this curiosity to practice by helping to drive initiatives facilitated by the Equity Diversity and Inclusion advisory council at Sheridan Research. My growth as a designer is informed not just by my ability to create pixel-perfect digital solutions but also by developing solutions grounded in comprehensive research and addressing user concerns.
