Zheyuan Xiao

I am Zheyuan Xiao, a student at Sheridan College and will graduate from the Honours Bachelor of Interaction Design Program. I am passionate about interaction design and UX, and one of my favorite tasks is designing interactive prototypes for apps - with Adobe XD being my tool of choice. For me, prototyping is like going on an adventure. Every design journey is a journey full of novel experiences, and the occasional inspiration is as inspiring as the unexpected rewards of a Roguelike. I love video games, especially those in the fantasy or near-future sci-fi genre -- Detroit Becomes Human is my top pick. I incorporate the interaction and design from these games into my projects and hope to do interactive experience design for games in the future. I believe in science and scientific materialism, and I believe that the future of mankind is a combination of technological advances and design advances. I hope to combine my favorite fantasy-themed games with the latest technological trends to create a different second-life experience for people to realize their dreams in games. I see the metaverse as one of the most important trends in the future development of human society. I am very fond of carbonated drinks, especially Coca-Cola. I get excited by cold drinks and carbonated bubbles, which puts me in a better position to catch ideas more easily while still being productive. While doing design work, enjoying a glass of cold coke is a very pleasant thing!
