Gia Goodrich is not your typical creative. She’s not white, straight or male; she’s vocal about her ADHD. Her photography aims to expand rigid notions of beauty, celebrate differences, and affirm the gorgeous and complex intersections of identity. Diversity is her driving force, and her adeptness in communicating this to the world has snagged the attention of clients including Nike, Adidas and Pandora.

After 15 years in the industry (with no formal photography education), Gia realized that shrinking herself to fit into pre-existing spaces isn’t an option; she had to carve out her own space. On December 7th 2021, all final-year FAAD students are invited to hear Gia's inspiring talk on Leveraging Your Cultural Constellation for Success in the creative industry.
